Who made you the watchdog of who can have what? Have you ever worked for Walmart, I bet not. They provide more jobs than just about any company in this country. They have benefits for their full timers and ANYONE can move up in their company. Even without a union. Becuase that is the left’s real problem with Walmart nonunion!!

I would guess that he paid his taxes (after having his CPA cut it down as much as he could) and gave a tiny amount to some of his causes. The rest he has invested in the stock market, real estate and other CAPITALIST ways. He is not talking about the governments being broke, he is still trying to TAKE your money and give it someone else. Why should these government employee unions enjoy the security, double the pay and double the benefits that their private sector counterparts do not get. All they while unemployment in the private sector is 9% and only miniscule in the public sector?

The Republican agenda is about racism, hatred of the poor and a willingness to employ people at 3rd world wages. There is no freedom in poverty or silence of the people. I don’t care if your politics are right or left – are they top to bottom? Because of you’re not at the top, you’re headed for the bottom and you can get there on crumbling roads and across the bridges before they collapse. This country is going down the proverbial sh*thole and all we get is attacks on family planning, gay marriage, etc….WTF!

When someone puts money in a bank it becomes available for others to borrow to help them grow their business. When the government takes the money in taxes it gives it to people who would not be getting it except for the power of the government to take it from one group and give it to another. The first way is voluntary and people make rational economic decisions about their money. The second way is a political process which ends up being wasteful. Look at Defense Dept, Soc Security, Medicaid Medicare, they are all bankrupting us since eventually such an uneconomic process ‘runs out of other people’s money’ Mike Moore would have you believe that the answer is just to take the ‘rich’ s money even more. We could grab it all and the gov’t would spend it in a year and we then would be like Cuba or North Korea.

No actually we just believe in freedom, especially from those who believe it is their ‘right’ to compel me to work 1/3 of the year to funnel cash and benefits to them. The government is the organization which takes my money without my consent !

Once again, republicans argue with facts, liberals argue with emotions. Show me this confirmation -send me to a web site, come up with something to prove your statement. I bet you can’t. I waste my time on this site to help the la la land people to come back to reality. Its always good to listen to both sides. By listening to one sided news your becoming a Kool aid drinker. This holds true for democrats and republicans.By the way-how many times have you watched fox news. I bet you get your news, about Fox news, from—let me see—MSNBC,CNN,ABC,-yeah there fair and balanced. They never lie. Are you kidding, MSNBC is the king of spin. If you would like, I can provide proof. Don’t be so hateful-some day you will better yourself and stop hating the job providers-sorry, the rich. By the way, you never answered any of my questions from before. I am very surprised-not really-emotions vs facts. Tell me how wrong I am -But you know you can’t. Feel free to write back-take care-I am going back to work to make money. If you would like to discuss Unions-I would love to hear about them.

No, you live in la la land and it’s called Fox News. Do some research. Fox News lies and there is plenty of independent confirmation of that. Oh, I forgot. You are too busy making money. So why do you waste your time on this site?

This is in response to your response. I’ll keep it short. What do you mean the employer can’t earn anything without workers-Not true- I made plenty of money on my own-no workers. The difference between a owner and employee is that the owner usually works double the amount of time that the employee does. I made good money because I worked for it. The big bankers and Giant corporations didn’t stop me. I could care less about them. The company grew so I decided to grow with adding employees. Did I help in providing jobs-yes. Did I need to grow the business -no. This is how corporation grow and become bigger-Its not always about greed and big fat cats. I enjoy knowing I employ many people. Just because a owner makes alot of money doesn’t mean he is unfair to his employees or paying them poorly. This idea seems to come from the left. Rich boss= Poorly paid employee. Its not true. What is rich enough-I always ask this question but no one,– I mean no one, can answer this question. I am a firm supporter of my people but, I don’t think they should make as much as me. The owner has all the risk. Lets say my company grows and I become one of those fat cats. Is this wrong-After all,I did start from the bottom and did pay above standard wages in my industry. I thought this was the American dream. In the eyes of the left this is no good. This makes no sense no matter how you spin it. Read some of my other posts-all the left talks about is the rich. Very small percentage of the public. If you want to get ahead-find a job where there is room to move up or start your own business. Until then-stop bad mouthing the rich bankers and wall street pigs. They never stopped me from achieving what I wanted. It starts with hard work.

I don’t have any problem with hard working small employers in this country. They are the backbone of this country. But that employer can’t earn anything without labor to put out his product and consumers to buy his product. Stop thinking about fighting labor and start thinking about those rich enough that don’t care if everyone is unemployed in this country because they can still get what they need from the low paid workers in other countries.

read Julia deak and alansyn-they live in la la land. They complain about companies, but I bet you, they work for one. If these people think companies are so bad, then they should find another way of making money-thats right-its call welfare.

You state “If people don’t have good paying jobs”, Who do you think provides these jobs-Its called the employer. This is the guy that works 80-90 hours a week, never see’s his family, takes all the risk, can’t go on unemployment, doesn’t get Government help when he files bankruptcy, puts his but on the line to employ other people. You need to wake up-The employer is the one who feeds your family and pays your bills. The rest of us-NO. You lose your job, you go on unemployment. Employer loses company- he loses everything. Go start your own company and see how easy it is.

Come on-watch Jon Stewart, that’s like asking me to watch Keith Olbermann. They are so left there off the charts. Hey-watch Shawn Hannity-I am sure you will give me the same response. The funny thing is, I watch all channels. By far MSNBC is the worst. What bothers me about the left is they always take the word of MSNBC,CNN, ABC and all the other left wing media channels to get there news on FOX. Watch fox for a week-not Shawn Hannity but Bill O’Reilley. At least I can say I watch all channels. The left just takes the left wing media’s word for it. If you want to be informed watch both sides. By the way, are all the bankers republicans. I get so tired of the left with their hate with fox news when they never watched it. At least come to the discussion with something better then Jon Stewart. So anyone making 250,000 is a shark. I will ask the question one more time,”what is rich and what is paying your fair share”. Why does the left scream about the rich, but can’t answer my question. Your answer on # 2 sounds like a typical left wing response-Just answer the question. Don’t forget to research your history when it comes to the bankers getting rich-if you are talking about the mortgage situation. Think back to the mid 90’s and what congress wanted for all Americans-the right to own their own home. Democrat thinking. Before I get into a long discussion on politics-do some research on this subject. In 2003 & 2005 Bush warned congress and the senate about Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae problems. In 2005 Bush tried to push legislation on a reform bill that would create a new regulator authorized to reduce the size of FM and FM investment portfolios. Democrats blocked the bill on the senate floor. Yet – the democrats blame the financial crisis on the Republicans saying they pushed deregulation. Not True. Check your history please. In response to # 1, I think I happened to be watching Fox that day. I think the one lady was wrong to defend the bankers but why do we always blame are problems on bankers. How many are there in the US, in terms of bankers, that make over 1 million. Lets say 100,000, 200,000, lets say 1 million. This is still only .333 % of the population. Lets get over it. Try to better your financial situation and stop worrying about the bankers-I am sure there not holding you back. They sure the hell didn’t hold me back.

That’s what bonds them. Everything they stand for hurts or takes something away from someone else. Be it rights, privileges, money , job security, education, healthcare, home heating allowances, social security, etc…nnOnly a sociopath wants to end abortion, stop poor women from getting birth control and end food stamps for children at the same time. BROKEN!

Hang in there, Coxhere! There are millions who share your hope for a better society and who are working hard to make it happen. America is a land of opportunity, and opportunity only comes from a good education, provided by teachers who are paid a competitive salary and work day and night to raise thoughtful, caring individuals with a sense of civic duty like yours. There are so many things we can all do to work towards a better day – I hope you see the movie “I Am” and start teaching everyone you know about how important unions and public sector work is. Read the free press, boycott Fox News and its corporate-sponsored brainwashing lies, and do a little something every day to improve the lives of your neighbors, your town, and your country. If we all do that, we cannot help but succeed.
